What does that mean? Well, it means I'm coming up on my 51st birthday. I joined AARP shortly after I turned 50. Why?...well, Why not? Have I used it for anything yet, hell no!...but I do have it. Whoo Hoo!
I went back to the Bahamas for my 50th birthday. I decided to celebrate the end of my 50th year in Hawaii. Yes, I started my 50th year on a tropical island on the East coast and now finishing up by going to a tropical island on the West coast. Sounds quite appropriate. I also took a two week vacation when I turned 50. One week for every quarter century old I was.

LOL...so I found this draft that never got finished or posted...I thought I would post it just as is...just for preservation. It's now 2014 so this was 3 years ago and I have no desire to finish what it was that i started back then....blah blah blah.....
What have I done since my last trip to the Caribbean? Well, I have been to the Caribbean, of course, two more times. I went to Puerto Rico in January for a friends 50th birthday. And for my birthday I chose to go to Barbados. I la la la LOVED Barbados. The water was so amazingly turquoise. I swam in Carlisle Bay before sunset almost every day. Sunset in Barbados is about 6:30pm. It gets dark early there. We stayed at the Hilton.
